Student Council Visit to Freeman Court
Posted on May 14, 2007 by jayden500
On Monday the 14th of May, the student council of Te Awamutu Intermediate went to visit the Freeman Court rest home in Te Awamutu. This was part of a project designed by Gloria Tukua called ‘UNITY’. This project was designed to unite the young with the old and that is why we had the visit to Freeman Court. This visit was great in my opinion because it gave me a chance to interact with the elderly and to hear the amazing stories that they had to offer. It just felt so great just being with them because I knew that I was doing my part to help Gloria with her project.
