Grandparents Concert

Recently, Te Awamutu Intermediate had their annual Grandparents Concert. At 12:00 noon, we started seeing grandparents parking up even though the concert started at 1:00. But there isn’t anything wrong with people coming early! Anyway, my grandmother arrived at 12:00 noon and I was looking around for her to show her around the school. She was very excited to be there and was proud of the achievements I had made. It was quarter to one and I took my grandmother to the hall so I could  tune my instrument because the school band was playing and I was a part of it. I was also playing a solo, it was called ‘Vega’ by Vander Cook. When I walked into the hall, I was happy to see a lot of grandmothers and grandfathers who took away their own time to see their grandchildren. After the concert, the children with grandparents had afternoon tea. My grandmother and I had a bite to eat and then she took me home. I was very happy that my grandmother came and she really had a great time and she enjoyed it!
